As we near the end of the year and the start of the Christmas holidays the Thimbleby team would like to thank all our customers for their support this year. It’s certainly been a tough year for everyone, but we hope our ground has provided a place for people to come and enjoy their shooting for an hour or so and forget the fact there’s a global pandemic going on! We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – we hope to see you for a festive clay round in the next few weeks.
Progress report for the new clubhouse
We’re delighted to share the latest update on our new clubhouse with you. It’s getting ever closer to being ready to use and we can’t wait. As one of our customers recently said,” you’ve come a long way in 2020”, well just you wait until you can warm up next to the log burner after a round and enjoy the food from the new kitchen! Keep an eye on social media for more updates…
Looking ahead to 2021
The whole team here at Thimbleby Shooting Ground are keeping our fingers crossed that 2021 will turn out to be better than 2020. We are hopeful that, after what could be a tough end to the winter, by the time the warmer weather rolls around again, life is starting to get back to normal. Our Simulated Game Days run all year-round, so why not see about gathering some shooting friends to enjoy one with in 2021? We will also be carrying on with our grand plans for the expansion and improvement of Thimbleby, making our ground the very best option for clay shooting in the area.
