Clubhouse & Cafe

Welcome to our Clubhouse

Our beautiful clubhouse was completed in April 2021 and has become the beating heart of Thimbleby Shooting Ground, tucked in the 3,000-acre estate on the fringes of the North York Moors. The clubhouse is where you’ll find our instructors if you’re here for a lesson, it’s a meeting point before groups of guests set off for a round of clay shooting and is the perfect place to relax, eat and drink afterwards.

Visitors during sharp autumn and winter days will find a fire burning merrily in the wood burner, and on warmer days the outdoor terrace is a suntrap filled with the chatter and hubbub of happy guests. Your four legged friends are also very welcome too.

The clubhouse is also home to a meeting room, making it the ideal destination for parties, team building sessions and corporate events, and our destination gunroom and shop, which stock leading country lifestyle, shooting and hunting brands as well as new and used shotguns and air rifles.

The Clubhouse Cafe

Clay shooting can work up quite an appetite, but thankfully our cafe is on hand to serve breakfasts, hot and cold drinks, snacks, light bites and lunches for our visitors. Our professional chef creates a seasonal menu with everything from breakfast rolls or sweet treats to more hearty meals. We welcome visitors to use the cafe and clubhouse even when they’re not here to shoot, so if you fancy letting someone else do the cooking and the washing up, why not pay us a visit?

Bespoke Event Catering

Our chef and catering team also provide bespoke catering for events held here at the clubhouse, from our simulated game days and shooting competitions to birthdays, anniversaries, hen and stag parties and Christmas parties. We can tailor the menu to your individual requirements, so just get in touch to learn more!
