Our gunroom is home to a wide range of new and used shotguns from leading brands and up and coming British gunmakers. The gunroom was specially designed to show off our inventory, with racks so that you can browse what’s on offer with ease and benches for those closer inspections. The brands on offer include Browning, Beretta, Caesar Guerini, Blaser and Perazzi, and visitors with a shotgun licence are welcome to take a shotgun out to try it on the shooting ground. If you’re keen to try something that we don’t carry in stock, we are also able to order in examples of the entire range of each brand, and custom specifications can also be organised.
We also stock ammunition for all calibres of shotgun and for all types of clay and game shooting, have a small inventory of air rifles for sale and host regular shopping events with visits from brand representatives. If you’re in the market for a new shotgun, make sure you come and have a chat with our retail team.
The Thimbleby shop is home to clothing, gifts and accessories from a wide range of country lifestyle, shooting and hunting brands, making it a popular shopping destination for locals and those visiting from further afield.
The brands we stock include Laksen Sporting, Croots, Seeland, Harkila, Pampeano Leather Products, Parker-Hale, MacWet Gloves, Clayclo, and Coupland Leather Products, with new brands being added all the time. That means you’ll find leather and canvas gun slips and cartridge cases, smart shooting waistcoats, skeet vests, shirts and ties, outwear, layers and smart leather belts and dog collars, among many other wonderful products.
If you’ve been having an issue with your gun or you would like an alteration made, why not book it in to our onsite gunsmith. The highly respected James Reynolds, also known as the ‘Woodworking Gunsmith’, is available for appointments in his purpose-built workshop which is very convenient for those wishing to combine dropping off or picking up their gun with a visit to the shooting ground. James has spent many years honing his craft and we are very privileged to have him on site and so close to hand.
