Thimbleby Shooting Ground appoint new manager
We’re delighted to announce the appointment of our new Shoot Ground Manager and Senior Instructor.
Philip Thompson a highly experienced APSI instructor will take up the post from December 2019 and be responsible for the management and day-to-day running of the Ground.
Well respected and with a strong background in the shooting industry, Philip has previously instructed at shooting grounds in the North East and run his own shooting business with a number of high profile private clients.
Philip will also lead the ground into its next development phase which will include the building of a new club house and see the launch of Thimbleby’s simulated game shooting enterprise which will take advantage of the Estate’s outstanding topography and established game drives.
Shoot Ground owner Andrew Shelley said: “We’re thrilled that Philip has joined us here at Thimbleby and look forward to him leading the way in developing the ground and building our team of instructors over the coming months. We have some very exciting plans for the year ahead and Philip will play a key role in developing these for our customers.”
