As we near the end of May here at Thimbleby we’re looking forward to our calendar of summer events, kicking off with the long weekend to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum, our special Father’s Day ‘have a go ‘offer and the return of our popular Ladies Nights. But for visitors to the shooting ground there’s plenty to keep you occupied inside the clubhouse as well as outdoors. Our retail space and gun room are packed with all sorts of exciting things to tempt clay shooting and field sports enthusiasts.
If you follow us on social media, you may have spotted our gun of the week posts, where we highlight the new and secondhand guns which have really caught our retail manager Max’s eye. We’ve recently showcased a super brand new Zoli Z-sport and a used Caesar Guerini Magnus Sporting, and these posts always generate a flurry of responses, so if you like the look of our gun of the week it pays to get in touch quickly! Of course, another excellent way to check out what we have in stock and perhaps put a few cartridges through any which catch your eye, is to visit the gun room itself.
We have a fantastic range of guns from leading brands and some new gunmakers you might not have heard of yet. There isn’t much that Max doesn’t know about guns and we have regular visits from brand representatives if you do manage to find a question he can’t answer. So, if you have a beloved game gun but you would like to add a sporting model to your cabinet, or perhaps you’re in the market for your first ever shotgun, make sure you visit the gunroom soon.

We also stock an excellent range of countryside clothing and footwear for those on the hunt for high-quality technical kit to take them from the shooting ground to the field in style.
